Overview: Executive Decree that approves additional sanitary measures to reduce, mitigate and control the spread of the Pandemic due to the Coronavirus COVID-19 disease in the national territory. It complements the measures decreed in Executive Decree 472 of March 13, 2020.
Modification to Executive Decree No. 64 of January 28, 2020, modification to Executive Decree No. 472 of March 13, 2020, Declaration of State of Emergency according to Cabinet Resolution No. 11 of March 13, 2020, MINSA considers it is necessary to apply additional sanitary measures to reduce, mitigate and control the spread of the disease by COVID-19, in the face of the pandemic declared by WHO.
The temporary closure of premises and / or places for recreation or recreational sports, applicable to hotels, residential complexes, beach or country complexes, properties subject to horizontal property regime or any other premises determined by the health authority.
Temporary closure of common or social areas is ordered for residents in condos or houses. All celebrations is prohibited, which may be controlled by the health authorities and the national police.
The measures for the rationalization of water are released throughout the national territory, so the temporary closure of car washes is ordered, the irrational use of water for recreational activities and garden irrigation is prohibited.
Sanitary checkpoints are established to control crowds, take temperature, epidemiological surveillance test, and collect personal data for epidemiological surveillance actions.
Supervision in supermarkets, markets, food distribution points, pharmacies and banks so that they are in compliance with the provisions of MINSA and prevent any crowding by applying social distancing measures.
The regional and local health authorities are instructed to establish the surveillance mechanisms to ensure compliance with the health measures contemplated in this decree.
Sanctions: contravention of these provisions will be sanctioned pursuant to Law 40 of November 16, 2006, Law 66 of November 10, 1947 and Law 38 of July 31, 2000, without prejudice to other criminal or civil sanctions when corresponds.
