Overview: As of Monday, June 1, 2020; activities within Block 2 of the route to the new normal will be reactivated. Curfew will be implemented in place of movement controlled by gender and ID card.
The reopening economic activities will occur in stages in order to maintain control of the virus. The phases aim for a balance between mitigating contagion and reviving the economy.
The companies that will be able to start operations are: The construction of public infrastructure prioritized and approved by the Ministry of Health. Non-metallic mining (concessions for extractions of non-metallic material) Industries, places of worship, parks, sports areas and social areas (up to 25% of capacity and with physical distance of 2 meters) Social areas of the PH and outdoor of private clubs (swimming pools, tennis courts, golf and other sports areas that maintain physical distance) Manufacture of wooden articles (includes cabinetmakers ) All technical services not included in block 1.

Evidence/Justification: Health authorities reported on the decision made by the Government to start the process, after finishing the Cabinet Council in which only the issue of Covid-19 in Panama was addressed.
