Overview: The President of the Republic of El Salvador, through a press conference on March 18, 2020, decreed the closure of call centers and maquilas for 15 extendable days.

This measure is in addition to those previously taken in labor and health matters for emergency care, of which we return to the following:

Prohibition of dismissals or discounts in wages to employees who are in quarantine, except for legal causes of termination without liability for the employer.
Protection of private sector workers over 60 years, pregnant women (pregnant) and people with chronic diseases.
Suspension of table services in restaurants, cafes, dining rooms and others.
