Overview: The Government of Costa Rica announced new sanitary measures that will govern during the third phase of opening (June 1 to June 19). The Minister of Health explained that the vehicle restriction will remain unchanged. Also: 1) hotels, cabins or accommodation establishments are permitted with a capacity of 50%; 2) On weekends, restaurants, cafes, food places, gyms and swimming schools are permitted with a capacity of 50%; 3) Event rooms may function exclusively for activities with a maximum of 30 people (includes organisers, guests and other required personnel); 4) Museums and academies of arts may operate without contact during the week with a capacity of 50%; 5) Special tourism transport is enabled with special restrictions and measures established by the Public Transport Council; 8) Public institutions will continue to work with the basic operating plan and with teleworking measures. The cumulative working day is authorised (10 hours a day, four days a week) with the possibility of choosing Monday or Friday as a free day; 9) Immigration measures are extended until June 30, 2020.
