Overview: The Saudi Arabian government has decided that governmental employees have to work from home, except for the health, security, and military sectors, the Electronic Security Center, and the remote education system in the education sector.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development encouraged private sector companies to reduce the number of employees at the workplace and to promote working from home especially. Additionally, vulnerable workers in the private sector such as; pregnant women, employees with respiratory or cardiac diseases, immunocompromised employees should be granted the opportunity to work from home.
