In November 2018, at the biennial INGSA conference in Tokyo, it was announced that a new chapter—INGSA North America—would be launched under the leadership of Dr. Rémi Quirion, Chief Scientist of Québec and Vice-Chair of INGSA. A milestone discussion of relevant stakeholders and opportunities for the chapter was held at AAAS 2019 in Washington, DC. Since that time, stakeholder mapping and landscape analysis have continued to advance.
Much of this work is being sourced directly through community input. If you would like to share your perspectives on current practice, needs and opportunities for science advice, please fill out this short survey: https://forms.gle/s8WW7MjJdfhXmEg27

An updated analysis of the stakeholder map and the environmental scan will be presented and discussed at AAAS 2020 in Seattle:
